Shop MAC Collection, Shop & Drop Eyeshadow Quad, Lipsticks, photos, swatches, and review

The official release date for the Shop MAC collection is February 9th. I ordered all of these the day there were released on the pro site and two of the lipsticks have already sold out. They are Watch Me Simmer (bright coral) and Quick Sizzle (blue-based fuchsia) and they should be restocked again soon. My package came yesterday and I photographed everything today next to a large open window, but unfortunately it's been cloudy so my photos aren't as bright as they could be. I'm really pleased with everything here.

Shop & Drop Eyeshadow Quad
MAC offered three different eyeshadow quads and this is the only one I chose.

Sugar snack: light pink (matte finish)
Hypnotizing: frosted greyed mauve (frost finish)
Power Booster: violet (veluxe pearl finish) This one has a lighter violet shimmer.
Shop & Drop: deep blue (satin finish) It has tiny light-reflective lighter blue shimmer.

Sugar snack was extremely silky and smooth to apply. Hypnotizing seemed like it was going to be rough will all that frost, but it applied extremely smooth. Power Booster was drier and didn't blend as well as the others here. Shop & Drop looks blue in the pot when I swatched it it became more of a blue-black.

I tend to gravitate to purples. When I opened the package I realized it looked a lot like the Colour 3 quad from the Spring Colour Forecast 2010, so I took a side by side photo for comparison. They're not as similar as I thought.

Shop MAC Lipstick 
I purchased all six of the lipsticks from the collection. I love MAC's lipstick formulas and these are all high quality products! During swatching, Quick Sizzle stained my arm pink.

Innocence, Beware: light yellow pink (cremesheen finish)

Watch Me Simmer: bright pink-orange (amplified finish)

Naughty Saute: bright pepto pink (cremesheen finish)

Quick Sizzle: bright pink (matte finish)

Dish It Up: berry pink (lustre finish)

Runaway Red: rich red-blue (satin finish)
