| MAC Tres Cheek Collection Blushes |
Here are the new blushes from MAC's limited edition Tres Cheek collection for Spring 2012! I was in love with the
promo photos as soon as I saw them. Sweet pastels! Every spring MAC hooks me with their pastels. I picked up everything from this collection except for Modern Mandarin because I thought it might a be a little
too orange. Now that I see how buildable all of these are, Modern Mandarin doesn't seem such a daunting shade. All of these shades have a sheerness that allows you to build up the color without overdoing it.
Pink tea leans more red when swatched, but looks neutral in the pan. Immortal Flower is a peachy-pink coral shade perfect for warm skintones. Full of Joy was the highest on my list to have from this collection. It's a blue-based lavender-pink that is the only frost in the collection. Lovecloud is a neutral yellow pink that definitely has a little shine to it. Peony Petal is a bright blue-based cotton-candy pink perfect for cool skintones.
Colors swatched on bare skin with my finger, from left to right:
Pink Tea, Immortal Flower, Full of Joy, Lovecloud, Peony Petal

I need another blush like I need a hole in the head, but these are so lovely-looking... I'm very tempted.
ReplyDeleteLovely swatches. Love Cloud is just so beautiful and Immortal too. x
ReplyDeletePink Tea is soooo damn pretty O_O
ReplyDelete<3 Lovely! I picked up Modern Mandarin; I wanted immortal flower but it barely showed up on my inner wrist (which means it would be invisible on my face.) I can't wait to see how you wear these, they look totally you!
ReplyDeleteReplica or authentic? Since I bought 2 of these blushes online and the Mac logo seemed a little darker and there is a gap in the M and A.
ReplyDeleteI purchased all of these directly from MAC Pro online. I have a Pro card so I can usually buy them before they're released to the general public. If there is a variation, it may be due to the batch number.
