Copyright Infringement, Vol. 3, Yiwu City Yi & Fung E-Business Firm

Yet again, there is a company in China infringing on my copyright and counterfeiting my handmade makeup brush rolls. This time it's Yiwu City Yi & Fung E-Business Firm. Alibaba is notorious for selling counterfeit goods. I reported all eight or nine of their listings with my images attached and cited my Etsy as a source, obviously. It's also possible that this company is not reproducing my items but only accepting the money and scamming the buyer. Either way, China has serious counterfeiting problems.

If you're an Etsy seller who has also had this problem with a seller on Alibaba, what action can you take? To file a complaint, go to Alibaba.com and go to Help, Submit a Complaint, and Report Picture Stealing.

  1. I am desperate to get my hands on one of your brush rolls. I discovered them after you "closed shop" on Etsy. I WON'T, however, buy one from China. I'll wait until you're up and running again. I've searched all over the internet (and Etsy) to find one remotely close to yours to no avail. Will you be selling your rolls again anytime soon?
